Xiaomi Smartphone Need 5 minutes to Fully Recharge

We depend on cell phones to complete our daily tasks for our entertainment, but all this needs a robust mobile battery or a portable power bank. Usually, we plug in our cell phones at night and use them all day.

Now there is no need to do this as with the advancement in technology, the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro+ can be charged in less than 5 minutes which was publicly made available in November 2022.

Xiaomi is showcasing its faster charging technology at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, Spain.

You must be thinking of what Xiaomi has done to enhance charging capacity by increasing its battery milliampere-hour.

Not at all; even the company has replaced the device’s regular 5,000 mAh battery with a lesser 4,100 mAh version, undoubtedly responsible for the faster charging speed.

Compare it with the most demanding smartphone, iPhone 14 Pro Max, which has a 4,323 mAh battery that takes 110 minutes to recharge using a fully 26-29W charger.

Before Xiaomi company, at the start of this month, Realme launched its GT Neo 5 model with a 4,600 mAh battery that can be charged within 10 minutes using a 240W charger.

Even if battery technology fails to make a quantum leap in capacity, fast charging promises to be a viable solution for feature-packed devices demanding more and more power.

As we know, everything comes up with benefits and drawbacks, so this technology also negatively impacts battery life, and the batteries can only be changed or replaced once sent to repair shops.
