Uber Company surpassed its sales and revenue record in the 4th quarter of 2022

In 2022 many businesses faced an economic downturn. Still, uber, a ride-sharing company, announced its fourth quarter and end-of-year revenue data that its last year’s growth surpassed all previous records.

It states that its sales increased by 49% between 2021 and the whole of the 2022 year. The uber company’s net income is $595 million a year, and it generated revenue of $8.6 billion in just the last three months of 2022. Also, the company’s gross bookings were 12% in the fourth quarter of t

he year 2021, which grows up to 17.7% in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Uber served around 131 million customers in the last quarter of 2022 and made 2.1 billion rides compared to 1.7 billion rides the year before. Moreover, the uber company has launched a cross-platform membership program known as ‘Uber One in five countries,’ including Japan, Chile, Fr

 

ance, Spain, and Taiwan, making this membership available in 12 counties.

The company quoted they have achieved robust demand and surpassed sales margin worldwide due to its application of distinctive advantages that will surely provide more success into 2023.

Besides this achievement, the uber company cut off its 150 employees, which makes up 3% of its workforce, from Uber Freight which provides advanced booking for pick-up and home deliveries.
