Meta Launch First Paid Subscription Service

CEO, Mark Zuckerberg of the Facebook parent company, Meta introduced a paid subscription service knowns as “Meta Verified.”

Users of Meta Verified service will be able to obtain a blue badge for their Facebook and Instagram accounts by using their government ID to verify their both accounts under this service.

In a Facebook post, Mark Zuckerberg states that introducing this new service aims to strengthen the authenticity and security of accounts across our meta services.

Also, this Meta-Verified service offers users additional security against impersonation acts in which a person pretends to be someone else by utilizing their characteristics, behavior, appearance, speech, etc. Users also get direct access to customer service support.

You can have a meta-verified Facebook and Instagram account by inserting your ID number to verify your personal social accounts and obtain a blue badge.

Now you may be wondering about the Meta-Verified cost. So, the monthly cost of this service is $11.99 on the web and $14.99 for Apple’s iOS operating system.

The most important question is now who can avail this service? Meta is trying its best to have this service around the globe but soon Meta Verified service will be made available in New Zealand and Australia.

Another important note is that this service will not be available for Businesses and anyone above the age of 18 will be able to subscribe to this service, as stated by Facebook.
