A reverse Engineer, Alessandro Palazzi, has uncovered evidence suggesting that Instagram is developing an AI agent. If these claims hold, users could benefit from a chatbot capable of answering questions and providing advice.

Moreover, individuals who struggle with composing messages may find solace in the chatbot’s assistance.

According to screenshots shared by Palazzi, users can select from a pool of approximately 30 different personalities for the AI chatbot. This personalization aspect could enhance the user experience and make interactions with the chatbot feel more tailored to individual preferences.

Additionally, users will be able to integrate the chatbot into ongoing conversations by simply mentioning it with an ‘@’ symbol.

While it remains uncertain when or if Instagram will officially introduce this feature, the rumors align with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s announcement in February.

Zuckerberg revealed that the company was developing “AI personas” for various platforms, including Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp.

Palazzi’s credibility is also noteworthy, as he previously uncovered evidence of a paid verification system on Instagram shortly before Meta’s official announcement.
