Google Pixel Buds Pro Now Has Spatial Audio

Good news from Google for everyone who purchased the most recent model of the Pixel Buds Pro.

Finally, Google decided to follow Samsung and Apple in promoting the 3D audio experience while watching TV by adding a spatial audio feature to their flagship earbuds.

A few days back, the Google community manager Stefanie Frederick posted on Pixel Bud’s website that on the 7th of march, the Spatial audio feature will be accessible automatically to all Pixel Buds Pro earbuds of customers.

But unfortunately, sorry to all those individuals who chose less expensive earbuds like the Pixel Buds A-Series, who would not be able to enjoy 3D audio.

During the check test of spatial audio of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, the results were unsatisfactory as there were still some problems to iron out for the audio capability on third-party devices.

These earbuds come up with two settings, one fixed and one focused on head tracking. But it didn’t seem comparable to Apple’s spatial audio options at the time.

Many companies are updating their earphones with spatial audio before Google, as in January Samsung added that function in its Galaxy Buds 2. It was followed by iPhone being on the top of spatial audio and introducing their $250 AirPods Pro in 2022.

The fourth edition of the Pixel Buds Pro is $50 less expensive than Apple’s earbuds, but it’s still unclear whether it can beat Apple’s performance.
