Capture One Brings Photo Editing App on iPhone

Capture One has launched its photography app for the iPhone, allowing photographers to connect their cameras to the app and capture images directly.

The app is compatible with more than 500 different camera models, including popular brands like Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Sony, Sigma, and Leica.

One of the app’s notable features is its ability to automatically apply edits to images as it receives them from the camera to the iPhone. It enables photographers quickly provide their clients with edited images, saving time and streamlining the workflow.

Users can also plan by creating styles on the Capture One desktop or iPad apps and easily transfer them to their iPhones using AirDrop.

Additionally, Capture One makes collaboration easier by enabling photographers to provide their colleagues with a live link to a shoot. Whether colleagues are remote or on-site, they can follow the shoot in real time, select their favourite shots, and provide feedback from any device.

This feature enhances teamwork and expedites the decision-making process.

Other app features include RAW conversion, colour processing, and seamless cloud transfer to Capture One Pro to finish editing on a desktop.

Importantly, any ratings, colour tags, and edits made within the app remain intact during image transfer. The app also offers flexible image-exporting options, including external SSDs.

Capture One, known as a popular alternative to Adobe Lightroom, is now available on the App Store. After a seven-day trial, the app requires a $5 monthly subscription.

However, users who own the All-in-One package or the iPad app have free access to Capture One on their iPhones.
